RCD

An RCD, or residual current device, is a life-saving device. It is designed to prevent you from getting a fatal electric shock if you touch something live, such as a bare wire, by turning off the power supply. An RCD is supplied in each Documentary Lighting Kit or are available to hire separately if required.
